Dimensions: Belian is currently imported into New Zealand as decking 90x20.
Appearance: Heartwood is light brown to almost bright yellow when freshly cut, darkening
on exposure to a deep reddish brown or almost black with age.
Uses: Heavy & high grade construction, marine piling, wharf construction, industrial
flooring, ship building and decks.
Tips: Very similar to Kwila, but significantly harder, more durable and does not
bleed like Kwila does.
