Our fully-equipped machine shop means you can get your timber of choice machined
to your required profile all in one convenient location. We stock a large range
of pre-run standard profiled timber including weatherboards, flooring, panelling,
skirting, architrave, mouldings and many others required for construction and finishing
both inside and out.
When provided with accurate measurements or timber samples, we are also able to
machine to your unique requirements. Use our calculator to find the total lineal
metres required for your project.
Decking
While increasing the indoor/outdoor flow of your home, a deck is also great for entertaining
guests and enjoying the outdoors in the privacy of your own home. It is like another room
between your home and backyard!
A deck attached to the house requires a building permit. Also, if your deck is over 1.0
metre high, a handrail is required as well as a building permit. We have a good variety of
handrail and balustrade options to suit your style of deck. We are happy to provide a price
on the materials for your deck and need to know the following: height, width, length, what
surface it is going onto and which way the decking is running. The standard timbers we have
readily available for decking are Belian, Kwila, Macrocarpa and Radiata although others can
be machined. A range of stain is readily available to put the finishing touches on your deck
while still retaining the natural look of the timber you have used and to provide longer lasting
durability.
